Craftivism features regularly in the community projects of Culture Shift.
An Arts organisation that develops projects and sources artists to work with community groups. We have a database of 300-400 artists available to work on projects. Currently running Arts Connect, a three year arts programme for people with learning disabilities in East Sussex. Courses are delivered across East Sussex with six courses per year and nine networking/celebration events.
Currently offering a sewing/textiles course, a digital arts course, and a variety of performing arts courses.
Culture Shift concentrates on creative skills development, building confidence and self-esteem, communication skills, improved mental health, inclusion and reducing isolation for vulnerable people.
Culture Shift creates dynamic partnerships where the creative and cultural sector work with community, business and education partners to produce bespoke, creative, action-based solutions.
